Jake Thompson is a Gainesville based corrective exercise physiologist. Having graduated from A.T. Still University with a masters degree in human movement, he sees more to the human body than simply what is on the outside. Jake integrates his vast knowledge of human physiology and nutrition into his scientific based exercise prescription in order to obtain optimal results. Jake emphasizes long term results through the use of structured exercise programs and custom metabolic typing nutrition practices. Having extensive kinesiological knowledge and experience with clients injured and post rehab Jake understands the complexity of orthopedic exercise. Jake not only caters to those looking to increase performance and improve appearance, but also those wanting to improve the quality of their life, having been unable to do so because of injury.
Jake is certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and the CHEK Institute.
Jake is a strong believer in the essential role provided by scientific based kinesiological practices. Jake's corrective exercise programs have trained more than 500 people, attracting professionals from varied professions such as physical therapists, massage therapists, M.D.'s, Osteopaths, Chiropractors, and other health care practitioners.
Jonathan Is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and is a functional training fanatic.
He grew up in the construction industry, and is interested in many outdoor sports. With this background, he realizes the benefits that training can have on improving an individual's real-world activities, and he knows the value of hard work and it's rewards.
Not only does he coach his clients through great workouts that correct faulty movement patterns and posture, but he keeps his clients on a personalized diet program, so that they see maximal results nominal time.
He has been personal training at Axis Training Studio and instructing the Fit Body Boot Camp since July 2010.
Gary is a personal fitness trainer certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He has experience as a corrective exercise specialist in physical therapy.
He is also a licensed orthotist with a Bachelor of Science degree in Orthotics. Gary was lead orthotist at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida for thirteen years. He specializes in custom foot orthotics, bio-mechanical evaluations, and shoe recommendations.
Gary applies his knowledge of bio-mechanics to his personal training. He works with a wide variety of clients to help them achieve their fitness goals, including general conditioning, weight loss, posture improvement, and addressing orthopedic problems.

Jude Parfait is the owner of HomeBody Fitness, personal training and massage therapy. He has been practicing personal training in the Gainesville area since 2004 and massage since 2010.
Jude is a graduate of the University of Florida holding a Bachelors Degree in Exercise and Sport Science specializing in Sports Management. He is a proud member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the Florida State Massage Therapy Association. Jude has worked with many people including UF athletes who were members of the 2006 NCAA National Football Championship Team.
His background of over 10 years experience in the health and fitness field include group exercise and personal training, sport performance training, strength and conditioning for athletes at all levels, Olympic lifting, and diversity of fitness activities which keeps his clients motivated.
Jude combines a first-rate knowledge of the body and how it moves with a massage style that ranges from intense to gentle, depending on the particular need of each of his clients. Jude works with all populations: youth to older adults and general fitness to elite athletes. He also enjoys sporting outdoors with clients incorporating running, biking, walking and swimming into many of his workout routines.
Samantha Jones is a Licensed Massage Therapist and pain relief miracle worker. Fusing together knowledge from both schools of healing arts and yoga has helped her brand her own style of neuromuscular therapy focusing on injury recovery and prevention, pain relief and relaxation, and unlocking set patterns in musculature. She designs each massage therapy session according to the client's needs and uses her understanding of the workings of the human body to identify all components contributing to soft tissue dysfunction. She is an expert in Kinesiology and Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT).
Ezekiel is a Fitness Trainer by way of Gainesville, Florida and a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise. Ezekiel is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelors degree in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences. He has worked in Fitness for over four years for the Department of Recreational Sports at the University of Florida as a Fitness Associate for Strength and Conditioning and a Wellness Appraiser for Personal Training.
Ezekiel has gained extensive fitness knowledge and great intrapersonal skills through his training and interactions with University of Florida staff and faculty alike. He has worked with hundreds of UF staff and faculty who have issues with utilizing proper exercise techniques, flexibility issues, postural disparities and believes that anybody can achieve their fitness goals through carefully structured exercise programs that push them to their potential fitness abilities while giving them nutritional guidance along the way. He's a bit of a clown with a minor in theater and an active fan of stand-up comedy and improv so, you'll hear a lot of jokes and laughter from his end of the gym.
